‘Music for Peace and Harmony’ Out now

Music for Peace and Harmony is a concept album centred around the instrument called the Waraku, an obscure Japanese synth contains a variety of Japanese instruments such as the Koto (Japanese harp), Shakuhachi (Japanese flute) and Japanese traditional drums. Waraku literally translates to ‘Peace and Harmony’ in Japanese and I wanted to make an album that embodies the themes of peace and harmony. All the drum sounds and the majority of the other sounds come from this synth. Flute played by Gail Tasker and Keeley Forsyth is featured on a couple of tracks.
